Mock Bar Success

15 Sixth Form students battled their way through the regional heats of the Bar Mock competition at Cardiff Crown Court. Students took on the roles of barristers and witnesses in a mock court trial.

The William Brookes teams stormed through three nail-biting rounds to clinch a place in the heat final where their performance came under close scrutiny from barristers and QCs, all of whom complimented the students on “their impeccable skills under extreme pressure”.

They now look forward to attending the national finals at Belfast Crown Court in March.
