Organisers of the Shrewsbury Flower Show have announced that star of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ and celebrity artisan baker, Paul Hollywood, will be headlining the 2013 event.
Paul has been a firm favourite on British TV screens since 2010 – known for his innovative approach to baking and incredible attention to detail, he will be an exciting addition to next year’s Shrewsbury Flower Show, appearing in the Marches Food Hall at regular intervals throughout the two days.
Donna Hamer, Chairman Elect of the Shropshire Horticultural Society, said: “We are delighted to have Paul on board for next year’s Show. It is the first time we have had demonstrations from someone whose speciality is baking and we are all looking forward to seeing what Paul cooks-up.”
