Award-winning show goes on

Burwarton Show 1

Thursday 1 August will see the return of the Burwarton Show, and this year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Organisers are thrilled that the show was voted ‘Best One Day Agricultural Show’ by readers of the Farmers Guardian in 2012 – despite the setback of a cancelled show due to adverse weather last year.

This historic and much loved show will have livestock displays and judging, sheep shearing, horses, trade stands, crafts and conservation, as well as a food hall championing local producers and the popular scarecrow trail. In the main ring, the quad bike stunt team The Kangaroo Kids will stun the crowds.

According to show chairman Richard Yates, Burwarton 2013 promises to be “an outstanding day out in an unspoilt and beautiful part of rural south Shropshire”. To book pre-show tickets visit www.burwartonshow.co.uk
