Puff starts with Ironbridge

Friendly green dragon Puff, better known as Dana Power, has set his sights on this year’s London Marathon. The instantly recognisable fundraiser is completing a couple of half marathons before then, including the Ironbridge Half Marathon on Sunday 12 March – email ironbridgehalf@googlemail.com for details.

Dana’s hoping to be at full strength for the big event in the capital on 23 April – “I’m still recovering from a leg infection picked up doing a mud run in September so training is slow at the moment!”

Towards the end of last year, Dana took Puff to the New Cross hospital to hand over a cheque for the children’s ward in memory of his brother Jimmy, who passed away at the hospital in 1972 aged 10.
