Science fun at farm

Fordhall Organic Farm near Market Drayton is England’s first community-owned farm, and the team are constantly trying new things. Recently a free educational event was staged to encourage science exploration in the community.

“Science is fascinating; it promotes imagination, inquisitiveness, and independent learning,” said organiser and science teacher Buffy Hardy. “The turnout was fantastic with a real range of ages and abilities. The great thing about science is that you always find an aspect of it that you enjoy and find interesting.”
