Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but with so many people under increasing financial pressure, the occasion is not always as joyous as it should be. This year Fordhall Organic Farm in Market Drayton are running an initiative to help support those in need with their ‘Extra place at your table’ campaign. The team at Arthur’s Farm Kitchen have devised a festive menu and are inviting groups of family or friends who book to consider booking and paying for one extra person.
The additional diner won’t join them at the time, but when the community-owned farm hosts a lunch in their function room in conjunction with the local food bank, the extra places will be taken up by members of the community who are in need. Pre-booked and pre-ordered two and three-course Christmas lunches are available at Arthur’s Tuesday to Saturday throughout December.
