WGHS runs entrance exam familiarisation sessions

Wolverhampton Girls’ High School has announced Familiarisation Session dates for girls currently in Year 5.

WGHS, rated outstanding by Ofsted, is a free selective grammar school for girls aged 11 to 18 years. Based in the heart of Wolverhampton, the school has a rich history of providing an excellent education to students from across the city and beyond for over 100 years.

Not only do students achieve outstanding results, but the school takes every opportunity to encourage the girls beyond the classroom to develop happy, confident and resilient young women.

The WGHS entrance exam is scheduled for September 2024, with registrations closing at the end of June. To provide valuable insights and support for prospective students, they will be conducting free familiarisation sessions in May and June at various primary schools across the city.

These sessions offer a unique opportunity to understand the format of the entrance test, with practical examples provided. By participating, you and your daughter can gain familiarity with the test, enabling peak performance on exam day. Families attending will also receive complimentary access to online familiarisation materials, featuring additional example questions.

All interested individuals can register at the following webpage: www.wghs.org.uk/openevents
