Bridgnorth Loo Reprieve

Shropshire Council has decided to close council run public conveniences across the County from next April, saving the council £230,000 a year. The idea is that town and parish councils will take over responsibility; however should they choose not to, the toilets will be closed unless local businesses, such as cafes and pubs, ‘opt in’ to provide community toilet facilities at their premises. Bridgnorth area public toilets are currently covered by a contract until June 2013.
