Shoppers donate food

Sainsbury’s in Bridgnorth would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to their Customers who donated so generously to help tackle food poverty this October.

The store was taking part in a nationwide food-drive run by Sainsbury’s and FareShare, the national charity tackling hunger across the UK.

The second annual Million Meal Appeal took place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October and was a great success with the town’s residents and shoppers raising enough food collected to provide 3000 meals to charities and community projects across the UK.
