Café for the community

A brand-new community café, which is a collaborative project between Bridgnorth Endowed School and the school caterers, Aspens, was opened at the town’s Leisure Centre in October.

Hetty’s at Bridgnorth Endowed is part of the Aspens Vintage Events range and, after a dramatic transformation of the bar area, offers the perfect place for people to catch their breath following a swim or workout, relax with a coffee after the school run, or grab a bite to eat at lunchtime. All food is homemade and freshly prepared, and the menu includes sandwiches, hot daily specials, delicious cakes and biscuits, and speciality teas and coffees.

Sue Underhill, business director at Bridgnorth Endowed, says, “We’re absolutely delighted with our new community facility. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. Our aim is to open our doors to the community and we work hard to provide members of the public, as well as our students, with the best amenities possible.”
