Carnival’s Sunday slot

Bridgnorth’s biggest event is returning for 2019, with a new day. This year’s event will take place on Sunday 23 June as opposed to Saturday in the past, running from noon right until 7pm.
Entry forms for performers, attractions, stalls, bars, caterers and the colourful procession are now available on bridgnorthtownevents.org, with closing dates varying depending on the category, and everyone is encouraged to join in with the community event.
As ever, one of the highlights will be the Carnival Royalty, who will take pride of place in the procession and present prizes to winning procession entries. This year’s Royalty will receive prizes donated by local businesses including styling for the Queen and Princesses from Hello Gorgeous and hair styling for the Princes by Male Box. Each will also receive a buttonhole or bouquet from Blooms of Bridgnorth. Winners will be also be invited to represent the town at events throughout the year.
Carnival Royalty entry forms are available on the website, the Carnival Facebook page, and from the Town Council offices.
