Taekwondo triumph

Excalibur Martial Arts, based at Bridgnorth Leisure Centre, is celebrating their resent success at the GTI National Open Taekwondo tournament in Cheltenham, where the team of ten students, coaches and instructors spent the day officiating, coaching and competing. The team finished with a great result, taking home eight medals and adding more valuable experience at a competing level.

Members from the Bridgnorth martial arts team will soon be competing again, as a group of GTI Taekwondo students will be attending the 2019 ITF World Championships in Scotland this winter. A select group of 10 GTI squad members from across the country, have been chosen to represent England at the International Tournament.
