Pied Piper at Moffats

The children of Moffats school performed ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’, one of the cycle of five plays written for Moffats by its founder Natalie Engleheart in 1954.

Led by Marigold Rye as the Piper, a cast of 24 put on two performances, with one parent declaring, “by a mile the best school play we have ever seen”. With moments of great hilarity and great pathos, the children took on full responsibility for their production. Moffats will be hosting an open day and science workshop on bank holiday Monday 4 May from 9.30–12.30 pm. For more details contact the school on 01299 841230 or visit moffats.co.uk.
