Vote for Broseley Festival

A local festival has been nominated for this years National Diversity Awards in association with ITV, which celebrates the achievements of grass root communities tackling the issues in today’s society.

The Broseley Festival, a two day music festival run by a group of volunteers, has raised over £100,000 since 2015 and now attracts around 8000 visitors to the town.

Festival director Daniel Glaze said “Our team are absolutely thrilled to be nominated for the ‘Community Organisation Category’ – it was such a surprise! Back in November we were lucky enough to win the Volunteers of the Year Award, so we are over the moon to be in with a chance to win a second time.”
